Tom "Sloop Daddy" Leavens   Lead Guitar / Vocals

Tom is a founding member of the band. He was given the name "Sloop Daddy Fretlow" by one of the members of Molly Hatchet and it has stuck til this day.  Sloop has been spanking the plank for more than 35 years now and has no signs of letting up.  Tom uses a Fender Stratocaster, a Gibson Les Paul and A Fender Cyber Twin to assault those dangerous enough to cross his path.  Somebody was once stupid enough to walk up to him on stage and question Sloop's ability on guitar.  The guitar and the stupid ass both hit the floor hard!  Rock on Sloop Daddy...rock on!

Gerry  Leavens  Bass Guitar / Vocals

Gerry is the only other founding member in the band.  He adds the balls to the band with a Gibson Thunderbird Bass Guitar and a Peavey amp.  Gerry was the only member to never miss a gig until very recently due to an illness.  He made up for it by showing up a few days after major surgery to do the next gig.  He still holds the record and there is nobody close to him. There is one other record Gerry holds but I will let him tell you about it.

Matt St. John  Drums/Lead Vocals

Matt has been in and out of the band more than anyone ! He brings a tremendous amount of energy to the stage along with his great southern rock vocals and assorted percussion playing. When he goes back on the kit he is a rock solid drummer holding down a great groove.

Ronnie Tino   Sound

Ronnie is our sound man and technical wizard.  Without him we would sound like crap.  With him we sound like really loud crap. (but crystal clear)
 Thanks Ron!

Doug Brooks          Lead and Rythm Guitar

Doug is one of the original Southbound guitarists who is back in the band after a short hiatus. He has the ability to rip out a nasty lead with the best of them and always holds down a solid rythm. Doug plays Fender and Gibson guitars and Mesa Boogie and Peavey amplification
