Hello Southbound Fans,

Well here it is almost summer time and we have been busy practicing our asses off to bring you

more of the great music you are used to (but not the same old stuff).  Some new 38 Special (can you believe a southern rock band that doesn't do any?) Eagles, John Hall Band, Little Feat and more re-hashed tunes from way back when.  Long story short of it is more songs=more FUN!

We have a couple of new clubs recently added. The Tuscan House on Rt28 in Middleboro is coming up soon on 6/28 (band begins at 9:30PM).  This is a really nice place (probably too nice for us) and we are excited to bring the house down. This is the first time for us here so we were approched by the local paper and they did an article on us.  You can see it in the "About Us"  section.  Let's get everyone there and show them how Southbound Rocks Middleboro!  We have a few brand new songs especially for this gig so come on out and tell us what you think.

The next new club is a little ol joint in East Taunton called the Longbranch Cafe.  Me and Ronnie went there last night to check it out and book a gig and it is right up Southbound alley.  It has the look and feel of a saloon from the wild west and was recently done over.  We are looking forward to this place and this will be a refreshing change for those of you who have been at our rare club appearances.  We will be appearing here on August 9th so please come check out this great new club with us.  Directions are on the "Tour Dates" section as well as their my space page.

Other than that we continue to try to bring fresh music and southern attitude to every gig we play.  Thanks to all of you who have continued to support us since 1982!  Wow has it been THAT long?  I think I speak for everyone when I say I don't see letting up anytime soon.

The Chili Chowder Festival will be here before you know it so... get off your couch, put on your dancin shoes and get down to the next show and have a great time with us!
